Research infrastructure UASVM Cluj-Napoca includes equipment of the highest performance, covering most of the equipment necessary for the purposes specified in the project. Research Centre of Biochemistry and Agrofood Biotechnology (https://erris.gov.ro/Research-Centre-of-Biochemis) will carry out in vitro testing of bioactive molecules, using different normal and cancer cell lines. The laboratory of cell cultures is provided with a laminary flow Biosafe, a cell culture incubator, advanced microscope for transmission and fluorescence.

Laboratory of Food Process and Structure Engineering, Bakery Pilot Plant and Brewing Pilot Plant (https://erris.gov.ro/Laboratory-of-Food-Process-E) are equipped with: The CT3 Texture Analyzer, High-performance dispersing instrument JK-HSD-12G, Electromagnetic Sieve Shaker AS 300 control – RETSCH. Production facilities: Analytical control point for technological flow parameters, Zanolli Electric oven with in-built Proofer, 3 different baking zones, Dough Sheeter Flamic Italy, Kneader Kemper SP, Hobart Mixer Stainless steel working table. Brewing Pilot Plant will provide the brewers' spent grain biomass and Bakery Pilot Plant will support the conditions required for modeling and optimizing functional product.
